crap app

Fairly kludgy app that is not straight forward and with poor support. To make the functionality work, it requires installing some sort of helper script, which doesn’t install properly. Emails to support don’t receive a response.

Also somewhat odd that you’re required to have Time Machine set to Off and have the app manage the process. In instances where you want to override the schedule and just have the Time Machine run, it’s unclear how to execute this. So many on/off buttons, it’s confusing.

Apalling overall that Apple doesn’t have this functionality natively in Time Machine, and unfortuantely this is a crude and poor crutch to fill the gap.
